TOTTENHAM will demand £30 million for goalkeeper Hugo Lloris if Manchester United come calling.
WANTED: Hugo Lloris could switch to Man United this summer
The France No.1 will be a United target if David De Gea quits Old Trafford for Real Madrid.
But Spurs don’t want to lose Lloris and White Hart Lane chairman Daniel Levy would drive a hard bargain.
Lloris, 28, has been a big success at Tottenham after arriving from Lyon for £10m three years ago and is established as one of the best keepers in the world.
He is under contract at Spurs for another four years.
United want De Gea to sign a new contract, but no agreement has been struck.
And with the ominous presence of Real in the equation, United are having to consider keeper options – even though they have the experienced former Barcelona stopper Victor Valdes as cover for De Gea.
United could do without having to add a keeper to their list of summer transfer targets.
Manager Louis Van Gaal started to strengthen his squad last week, with a £25m deal for PSV Eindhoven’s Dutch attacker Memphis Depay.
Van Gaal claimed he had to act quickly with PSG ready to pounce.
But the Daily Star Sunday understands that another factor in snapping up Depay was that United accepted that Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale would still be out of reach this summer.
