Manchester City and Manchester United are interested in Liverpool star Raheem Sterling, according to The Sun's Neil Custis.
The England forward is set to leave Anfield at the end of the season, after telling the club he will not sign a new deal.
And Custis claims there may be a tug-of-war between the Manchester pair, who are said to be readying £40m offers, for the 20-year-old.
"Manchester United and Manchester City have [declared they are interested]," he told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show.
"A move to Manchester United is obviously less likely, someone moving from Liverpool to Man United has not happened for decades and decades."
"They are both very much in for him though."
"I'm not sure whether his fee will be as much as £40m," Custis added. "He was booed by his own fans at an awards dinner, and I don't seem a way back for him now [at Liverpool]. It's time to move on."
