The Serie A outfit are looking for a new manager after Rafael Benitez ended his two-year stint at Napoli on Sunday to take the helm of Real Madrid.
Emery last week signed a two-year contract extension to stay at Sevilla until June 2017, having led them to the Europa League trophy in both of his seasons in charge.
But he is also a reported target of Premier League side West Ham and Napoli's Serie A rivals AC Milan.
"I spoke to Emery on Sunday and he informed us of meetings he had with other clubs to evaluate all the options," Castro said to Sevilla TV. "There is an offer from Napoli.
"I hope and believe Unai will stay with us, but he will do what he sees fit.
"I repeat, I hope he will stay and I have faith that he will."
The 42-year-old made a name for himself after guiding Almeria to win promotion to the Primera Division in the 2006-07 campaign.
He then joined Valencia, with whom he qualified for the Champions League in three successive seasons.
Emery had a disappointing spell at Spartak Moscow, his first experience coaching abroad, before returning to Spain with Sevilla in January 2013.
Sevilla finished fifth in La Liga in the recently-concluded season but will play in the Champions League next term after beating Dnipro 4-2 in last week's final to lift the Europa League for a record fourth time.
Napoli, meanwhile, missed out on Champions League football after losing 4-2 at home to Lazio in Sunday's season finale.
The Naples outfit finished fifth in Serie A and will play in the Europa League in the 2015-16 campaign.
