“Grow some t***”: Ex-Liverpool forward sends VILE TWEETS embroiled in SEXISM ROW

Former Liverpool attacker Ryan Babel has come in for considerable criticism after a sexist tweet was sent to a female social media user.

Twitter user @Shannxo apparently criticised comments made by Babel aimed towards former Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez, but the Dutch international didn’t take too well to being criticised.

"I think you should concentrate on growing some t*** instead of speaking about football," Babel stormed, writing on his @Ryanbabel account.

"You’re a girl…stay in your lane."

The forward, who currently features for Al Ain in Abu Dhabi, then followed up his initial tweet by adding: "At least let your brother or your boyfriend make the comment then we can argue…

"Not gonna argue with a lil girl, with all the respect.. C’mon now.

"Look i’m not this guy anymore who should be careful what i say, regardless if its childish or not.. I’m coming for you if i feel like it..

"I’m not saying you cant be a football fan as a girl or woman… Of course u can duhh… I’m just saying that "I" am NOT gonna argue with u about football!"

The 28-year-old is apparently still unhappy with Benitez following his unhappy spell at Liverpool. The forward moved to Anfield in 2007 from Ajax, but despite a handful of good displays, failed to realise his immense potential on Merseyside.

Speaking to the Mirror in 2012, the forward expressed his belief that Benitez was the reason why the attacker didn’t realise his potential with the Reds, and it appears as though Babel still bears a grudge.

The forward has won nothing since 2013, when he won the Dutch title, nine years after originally winning it during his first stint with the club.

After leaving Liverpool in 2011, he has also featured for Hoffenheim and Kasimpasa.
