Reigning Bundesliga champions Bayern München have reiterated that Manchester United target Thomas Muller is not for sale at any price.
The Bavarians chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge admitted the German champions have rejected substantial bids for the 26-year old and again made it clear that any bid made for Muller is useless.
"I am not a banker. We are a football club," Rummenigge told German television station Sport1. "That is why we never even considered selling Thomas Muller.
"I told my colleagues at Manchester United: 'I cannot close down my email account, but you no longer need to send me anything. It is useless.'
"He's under contract for another four years," Rummenigge added. "He'll stay - no matter what is offered. There is no price I would even start considering it."
Muller has been in impressive form this season scoring eight goals in the first eight games of the new Bundesliga campaign.
