Manchester United legend David Beckham has said that he still loves coming back to Old Trafford even though he can't attend as many matches as he would like.
Beckham will return to the Theatre of Dreams for Unicef's Match for Children next month, and revealed that he still gets goosebumps when walking into the stadium.
Beckham said: "I still love coming to Old Trafford: I don't get back as much as I'd like to just because having four kids, and three of the boys play football at the weekend, so it's pretty impossible to get up to games, but any time I can, I still love coming to Old Trafford.
"Still walking into this stadium just gives me goosebumps. It's a dream. It's a dream to have played here for the years I did and a dream to host a game here for a great cause. It's very special."
The former England captain will lead out a side managed by Sir Alex Ferguson which will go up against a team captained by Beckham's former Real Madrid team-mate Zinedine Zidane, with Carlo Ancelotti as coach.
Beckham enjoyed a tremendous career at United after working his way through the ranks of the club's youth system.
Renowned for his crossing ability and set-piece delivery, his time with the Red Devils ended in acrimony after an alleged falling out with Ferguson, but he is still treated as a hero by the Old Trafford crowd. And he will doubtless receive an excellent reception when he returns for the aforementioned charity match.
After leaving United, Beckham enjoyed four years at Real Madrid before winding down his career in the United States with LA Galaxy. He eventually retired in 2013 after a short stint with Paris Saint-Germain, but is best remembered for his time in Manchester, where he established himself as a real fan favourite.
