Vidal: Bayern situation is strange

Bayern München midfielder Arturo Vidal admitted it was strange knowing that the club's head coach Pep Guardiola would be leaving at the end of the season.
The Chile international, along with several other senior members of the squad, have stated their desire to end the former Barcelona's boss' time in Munich on a high by winning the treble of Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and Champions League trophies.
While he admits the situation regarding Guardiola's imminent departure - likely to the English Premier League - is a weird one with the club performing so well, he still believes both the Catalan coach and his replacement Carlo Ancelotti are world class mentors.
"It's a bit strange to know at this time of the year that in summer a coaching change will take place," Vidal told Sport1.
"Both coaches are first class and the best in the world. First we need to look at the present and, hopefully, namely with all three titles to end the collaboration with Pep as good as possible. Then a new cycle with Ancelotti."
The 28-year-old joined Bayern from Italian champions Juventus on a four-year deal at the beginning of the season and is already talking about prolonging his stay in Germany.
"I am here for four years and if you then offer me another year, I would be happy," he concluded.
