Mousa Dembele has committed his future to Tottenham by signing a new long-term contract to tie him to the club until 2019
The Belgium international has gone on to establish himself as a first-team regular for Spurs following his move from London neighbours Fulham in 2012.
Dembele made an immediate impact for the north Londoners when he scored on debut to secure a 1-1 draw against Norwich in September 2012.
The 28-year-old midfielder has started 16 matches in the Premier League this season, with another two appearances off the bench and contributing three goals.
The Germinal Beerschot youth product missed a handful of games for Mauricio Pochettino's side due to three separate injuries suffered during the first half of the campaign.
"I am very happy I've signed and I'm happy to be part of our future," Dembele told the club's official website upon penning his new deal.
"The way we're playing, the way the club is developing, everything is very good and everyone wants to be part of this team and this club. That's why I'm proud to extend my contract."
