Fulham call off Dembele’s Spurs move

Moussa Dembele's transfer to Tottenham is off as Fulham were reportedly unhappy with Spurs' reluctance to loan the striker back for the remainder of the season.
Fulham had accepted an offer in the region of £6m from the English Premier League side with the notion that he would remain at Loftus Road until the end of the campaign.
The 19-year-old underwent a medical at Tottenham and it appeared the move was a mere formality.
However, the transfer broke down on Sunday evening with the Guardian reporting "Tottenham have continued to push for the player to be allowed to join them straight away to the point where it became a deal-breaker.
"There is understood to be precious little chance of the deal being revived before the window shuts on Monday night."
The teenager's contract with the Cottagers runs out at the end of the current campaign, but Fulham will be entitled to fee determined by a tribunal if he joins an English club.
