Sheffield Wed. vs Queens Park Rangers - Fernando Forestieri missing for Wednesday
Posted Tuesday, February 23, 2016 by PA
Sheffield Wednesday will be without suspended striker Fernando Forestieri for their home game against QPR.
Forestieri was sent off for two yellow cards as Wednesday's seven-game unbeaten run was halted in Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Preston.
On-loan Everton winger Aiden McGeady is back in training and in contention after missing out at the weekend due to a knock.
Both midfielder Sam Hutchinson (knee) and defender Glenn Loovens (groin) could also return to the squad after playing no part at Deepdale.
Alejandro Faurlin is back in contention for QPR as they travel to Sheffield Wednesday.
The midfielder has been out with a thigh problem since the beginning of the month and QPR manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has no fresh injury or suspension concerns.
Matt Phillips scored a late equaliser to earn a 1-1 draw with Bolton on Saturday and the Rangers boss is hoping to build on that result.
Nasser El Khayati is expected to start ahead of Junior Hoilett on Tuesday.
