Shrewsbury Town vs Rochdale - Shrewsbury defender Jermaine Grandison a doubt for Rochdale clash

Jermaine Grandison is a major doubt for Shrewsbury's Sky Bet League One clash against Rochdale.

The defender missed Saturday's 0-0 draw at Colchester with a hip injury and could miss out again for Micky Mellon's men.

Richie Wellens also sat out the stalemate in Essex after turning his ankle in training on Friday and will be assessed.

James Wesolowski is closing in on a return after a cruciate knee ligament injury which has seen him miss most of the season.

Rochdale will again check on defender Ollie Lancashire after three games out through illness.

Striker Grant Holt will hope to be involved after coming off the bench to score his first goal since rejoining the club against Sheffield United on Saturday.

Holt joined the club on loan in February as cover for Calvin Andrew, who is sidelined with a foot injury.

Midfielder Donal McDermott (stomach) and defender Scott Tanser (leg) are battling to prove their fitness.
