Pep Guardiola will change English football when he joins Man City, claims ex-Bayern ace
PEP GUARDIOLA will change the face of English football when he takes charge of Manchester City.

That’s the bold prediction of Sunderland midfielder Jan Kirchhoff, who played for the Spaniard at Bayern Munich.
City are dreaming of Champions League glory this season following their 2-2 draw against Paris St-Germain and could even come up against their future boss in the semi-final or final of the competition.
But according to Kirchhoff, City will scale even greater heights when the former Barcelona boss arrives at the Etihad Stadium.
And he claims Guardiola’s arrival could even boost England’s World Cup prospects.
"Pep Guardiola is going to win this league and change this league like you’ve never seen before," said the German. "I’m totally sure of that.
"He is going to build one of the greatest teams and win this league without any trouble.
"You will see a totally different way of football. For English football, it is one of the best situations they will have for a long, long time."
Kirchhoff, the only Premier League footballer to have played for both Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp during his time in the Bundesliga, credits the pair for transforming German football and laying the platform for their World Cup success last year.
He believes England too could reap the rewards of their coaching expertise.
"I talked to the guys after the Germany v England friendly and told them I think this is the same situation we had in Germany five years ago,” he added.
"A lot of young, talented, homegrown players growing up and getting into the best teams in our country.
"Then we have really good coaches in these teams – Klopp at Dortmund and Guardiola at Bayern.
"And the national team exploded.
"I don’t think we won the World Cup because of our unbelievable head coach of the national team (Joachim Low). We won it because of Guardiola and Klopp."
HERO: Kirchhoff hailed Guardiola
Kirchhoff, plagued by injuries during his time in Munich, has told City players to expect a footballing revolution when they report back for pre-season training in July.
He explained: "You learn football in a new way.
"It is like being a kid and getting so much influence and so much new stuff. It makes you so much better.
"You understand the game in a totally different way. Everyone who plays for Guardiola is participating and will increase his level.
"If he has a lot of national players from England, they will improve as well and that will make the England team better.
"There are other good coaches like Pochettino, I really like him and you can see in the England team, there is already a Tottenham influence.
"With these coaches, I think the whole league is going to be better."
