Man United have offered Jose Mourinho the job for 2017; He’s not interested

A new twist was revealed by journalist Duncan Castles tonight in the drawn out story linking Manchester United to unemployed former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
Typically not the most reliable of sources, Duncan Castles is however close to Jose Mourinho’s super-agent Jorge Mendes.
Castles reports that Manchester United have offered Jose Mourinho the position for the summer of 2017 with the Portuguese manager reportedly not interested.
Louis van Gaal’s contract at Manchester United runs out in 2017 and nothing official has come out from the Old Trafford hierarchy suggesting he will be sacked this summer.
Manchester United fans will certainly be left fuming if Louis van Gaal is given another year, especially if he fails to secure Champions League football.
Jose Mourinho has been out of a job since December 2015 and has made it pretty clear that he wants to take over from the under-fire Dutch manager.
