Norwich can still beat the drop, but will need to pick up maximum points against Watford at Carrow Road on Wednesday.
The Canaries are locked in a three-way battle with Newcastle and Sunderland to retain their top-flight status, with two of them destined to join Aston Villa in the Championship next season.
Alex Neil's side currently sit 19th in the standings as they trail the Magpies by three points and are four behind the Black Cats, but have a game in hand over the former and there are still six points to be gained from their last two matches.
The Norfolk outfit have not been doing well in recent weeks, however, losing their last four games on the trot to become favourites for relegation. They were defeated 2-0 by this opposition earlier in the campaign, but nothing other than a win will do this time around.
While the hosts have everything to play for, the visiting Hornets have little need of further points. Safely positioned at 13th in the table, they have won two and lost two in recent weeks, and Norwich will need to take advantage of their indifferent form.
In team news, Jonathan Howson (knee), Ryan Bennett (illness), Andre Wisdom (knee), Timm Klose (knee), and Alex Tettey (ankle) are all expected to miss out for the home team.
For the visitors, Swiss midfielder Valon Behrami (rib injury) has been ruled out, as has French defender Etienne Capoue (knee).
