Juventus have completed the signing of Barcelona right-back Dani Alves on a two-year deal with the option of a third.
The 33-year-old only signed a new two-year contract last summer with the Catalan giants, and was rewarded by winning the La Liga and Copa del Rey last season with Luis Enrique's side.
However, rumours recently filtered out that Alves had exercised an option to leave the Spain this summer, one year into his two-year deal.
The club went on to confirm that Alves would definitely be leaving and Juventus officially announced on Sunday that the right-back had landed in Turin ahead of a medical.
And what was possibly the worst kept secret around in the transfer window, the move has now been officially confirmed by Juventus with Alves delighted to be trying his luck out in Serie A.
Alves went down in Barcelona's history books as one of the most successful and talented footballers to have ever played for the club during his eight-year spell there.
The fleet-footed full-back joined from fellow La Liga outfit Sevilla in 2008 just before Pep Guardiola took the Catalan giants onto an incredible treble, the first of two for Alves at Barcelona.
Alves then went on to win the Champions League, Copa del Rey, La Liga, Uefa Super Cup and Club World Cup, highlighting the sort of impact he had during his spell at the Camp Nou.
