DOGHOUSE: Hart could be losing two No.1 jobs in the same month
Guardiola launched his reign as Manchester City manager by preferring Willy Caballero in goal for the opening match of City’s Premier League season – a win over Sunderland.
The new City boss has indicated he has concerns about Hart’s footwork.
And England manager Sam Allardyce is watching the situation at City with interest.
Big Sam, who will name his first Three Lions squad within the next fortnight, is understood to have been concerned about the form of Hart, 29, at this summer’s Euros in France.
Guardiola is keen on a move for Barcelona keeper Marc-andre ter Stegen.
But as reported in the Daily Star Sunday last week, Barca say it would cost a world-record fee for a goalkeeper of £67million to sign him.
Guardiola’s men got their season off to a flyer with a victory over the Black Cats, a Paddy McNair own goal proving the difference.
