Cesc Fabregas has paid tribute to the Chelsea supporters on Sunday afternoon after a 2-1 victory over Watford at Vicarage Road.
The Blues midfielder started on the substitute's bench for the second successive game despite Willian's injury as Antonio Conte preferred Pedro Rodriguez as the Brazilian's replacement.
However, Fabregas was able to have a positive impact as a second-half substitute after the former Arsenal captain teed up Diego Costa for an 87th-minute winner at Vicarage Road.
The Spain international has been linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent weeks after failing to secure a place in Conte's starting line-ups for Chelsea's opening two games of the season.
However, Fabregas showed plenty of affection for the west London side's supporters as the midfielder posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:
"Thank you so much to all the fans yesterday... I really apreciate your support."
The former Gunners midfielder moved to Stamford Bridge in a £27m deal from La Liga giants Barcelona in 2014 and Fabregas won his first Premier League title under Jose Mourinho in his debut season in west London.
