A new Marcus Rashford contract is reportedly on the agenda for Manchester United bigwigs.
Eighteen-year-old Rashford only signed his current deal 111 days ago, but the Daily Mail claim that the Red Devils are keen to tie him down even more securely with a new package.
The Mail say that the deal Rashford signed in May is worth more than £1m a year and ties him to the club until the summer of 2020.
But, with the young England international continuing to grow his reputation as one of the best teenage footballers on the planet, United are said to be keen to fend off potential interest from abroad and desperate to avoid a situation where Rashford’s contract is allowed to run into its last 18 months.
Rashford has yet to start a Premier League game this season, although he was in the first XI on Thursday night when United lost their Europa League opener to Feyenoord.
