AC Milan legend Alessandro Nesta has expressed his support for the club's new manager Vincenzo Montella and his emphasis on giving young players a chance.
The Rossoneri have shown great progress this season after a period living in the shadow of Juventus, and are now only five points off the top of the Serie A standings.
Nesta believes the club should be optimistic about the near future with the likes of teenage sensations Gianluigi Donnarumma and Manuel Locatelli performing so well.
"They started very well. They have changed the manager again but they are doing extremely well," Nesta told Omnisport.
"Unlike recent years when the squad was made of older players, now it is very young. They rely on them.
"This is a young project with a young manager. I think he is the right man."
