Hat-trick makes it 18 against Atleti

It may have taken a deflection but try telling Cristiano Ronaldo that his opener in Saturday's Madrid derby was overly fortuitous, as the winger beat Alfredo Di Stefano's record for scoring against Atletico Madrid.
Stefan Savic or maybe even Raphael Varane got in the way of Ronaldo's goalbound free-kick and diverted it past Jan Oblak to silence the Estadio Vicente Calderon after 22 minutes.

Then, midway through the second-half, it was Ronaldo who won and buried the penalty to make it 17and level the Blancos icon's tally, which was overtaken when tapping home at the far-post to seal his hat-trick and the three points.
Furthermore, the Portuguese star has pushed past Alvaro Morata in Real's scoring charts for the 2016/17 season, making it 10 for the campaign so far with his hat-trick finish.
