Chelsea are set to soon open contract talks with Victor Moses.
Sky Sports is reporting that the Blues are determined to tie down the Nigerian winger who is finally starting to really fulfil his enormous potential.
Moses, 25, has been starring for Antonio Conte in a new wing-back role in the Italian's 3-4-3 formation and capped his continuing rise this term with the winning goal in Saturday's 2-1 triumph over Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Crystal Palace and Wigan Athletic man is under contract with Chelsea until the summer of 2019 but after hinting that he would love to one day play for Barcelona, the West Londoners are believed to be a little unsettled.
It is understood that Barcelona are showing some interest in Moses having sent scouts to watch him in recent times and that has prompted Chelsea to move.
They will look to enter into contract talks in the coming weeks in a bid to tie him down for the long-term and ward off any potential suitors, such as the Catalan giants.
