The site of his former assistant, Zinedine Zidane, in the opposing dugout at the last-16 stage of the Champions League is one Carlo Ancelotti could do without.
Having guided his Bayern Munich side to second in their group, Real Madrid could be on the horizon if they beat Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night and top Group F.
"Of course I don't want to face Real Madrid, but we have to wait and see," the Italian said to BeIN Sports after beating Atletico Madrid 1-0.
"Whether you're first or second, there are many strong teams who have finished as runners-up. No matter what, it will be difficult."
Overcoming Los Rojiblancos may have been nothing but a morale boost for Die Roten, but while second in their European and domestic tables, the coach is happy with a win.
"We have played well against a team that's hard to control," Ancelotti added. "We played with intelligence and balance."
