Real Madrid will sleep in the sky in Japan

During the Club World Club, Real Madrid will stay at the Yokohama Royal Park Hotel, located in the Landmark Tower, the second tallest building in Japan.

With a height of 295.8 metres and views of Mount Fuji, this construction is one of the main symbols of modern architecture in the country.

Built in 1993, the building has 70 floors and one of the fastest elevators in the world, capable of going from floor 0 to floor 70 in just 43 seconds, at a speed of 45 kilometres.

The tower also has two dampers at the top to absorb vibration in the event of an earthquake, as Japan, along with Peru and Chile, is one of the most active seismic zones on the planet.

Real Madrid will sleep between the 48th and 69th floors as the first 47 are designated as a shopping centre and office complex - the usual luxuries one might expect of a five star establishment.

Not one of the most ostentatious hotels in Japan, it is one of the most spectacular because of its height.

In fact, it is the first building that Real Madrid players will see when they are approaching Haneda airport to land.
