Fleetwood vs Bury - Fleetwood midfielder Kyle Dempsey may be back for Bury clash after leg injury

Fleetwood manager Uwe Rosler could have Kyle Dempsey available for selection against Bury as the midfielder recovers from a leg injury.

Dempsey has been absent for the last two matches after picking up the problem against Walsall, but Rosler is hopeful he could play again this year.

Jimmy Ryan, however, will not feature until 2017 after undergoing minor foot surgery but is expected to make a quick recovery.

Jack Sowerby (hamstring), Martyn Woolford (knee), Ash Eastham (jaw) and Michael Duckworth (groin) remain on the casualty list for the Cod Army, who are unbeaten in five league games.

Bury boss Chris Brass expects to welcome back one or two players over the festive period, after admitting he is short on numbers.

Brass lost his first game in permanent charge of the Shakers at home to Oxford, making it 12 losses on the bounce for the club.

Danny Mayor and Jordan Bedeau are fine to retain their places in the side despite coming off with knocks, but Neil Danns remains banned.

Zeli Ismail, Leon Barnett and Kean Brian are nearing fitness having returned to training, while Andrew tutte, Ishmael Miller and Nathan Cameron are expected back early in 2017.
