Peterborough United vs Coventry - Peterborough's Paul Taylor pushing to play against Coventry
Posted Thursday, December 29, 2016 by PA
Peterborough's Paul Taylor is pushing for a place in the starting XI for the clash against Coventry in Sky Bet League One on Saturday.
The 29-year-old striker has been suffering from a hamstring injury which saw him miss the 1-1 draw with Gillingham on Boxing Day.
While Taylor could return to the fold, Jermaine Anderson and Jack Baldwin remain sidelined.
Posh currently sit seventh in the table and are unbeaten in three league games.
Coventry manager Russell Slade could be tempted to make changes to end the Sky Blues' seven-game losing run.
Ben Stevenson may be recalled to the starting line-up after he was a substitute for their 4-1 defeat at Bristol Rovers having served a three-game ban.
Jamie Sterry returned from injury at the Memorial Stadium but defender Ryan Haynes is still struggling with a knee problem and has not played for six weeks.
Coventry are without a win in Sky Bet League One since November 1 and sit second bottom.
