Queens Park Rangers vs Ipswich - Nedum Onuoha back from suspension to boost QPR
Posted Sunday, January 01, 2017 by PA
QPR captain Nedum Onuoha returns from suspension for the visit of Ipswich.
The defender missed the 2-1 win at Wolves on New Year's Eve after he was sent off at Brighton four days earlier.
Massimo Luongo also sat out at Molineux with a groin injury and faces a late fitness test along with fellow midfielder Jordan Cousins, who has a hamstring problem.
Forward Jamie Mackie completed his first 90 minutes of the season against Wolves so his condition will also be assessed.
Town boss Mick McCarthy made four changes for the 2-1 win over Bristol City.
Defender Myles Kenlock could be given the nod again ahead of Jonas Knudsen at left-back, while Kevin Bru and Grant Ward will be hoping to retain their place in midfield.
Andre Dozzell and forward Freddie Sears are in contention for a recall having come off the bench against the Robins.
On-loan Crystal Palace midfielder Jonny Williams (shoulder) is sidelined while defenders Tommy Smith (back) and Paul Digby (knee) continue their rehabilitation, along with midfielders Teddy Bishop (ankle), Giles Coke and Luke Hyam (both knee).
