Brighton defender Lewis Dunk returns from suspension for the visit of Sheffield Wednesday.

The centre-half has completed a two-match ban for collecting 10 yellow cards this season.

Midfielder Dale Stephens should be fit after missing the 2-0 defeat at Preston through illness and full-backs Gaetan Bong and Seb Pocognoli are expected to shake off knocks.

Defender Liam Rosenior is back in training after an ankle fracture but needs to build up his match fitness.

Sheffield Wednesday manager Carlos Carvalhal is hopeful that Callum McManaman will be fit for what he feels will be his side's toughest test of the season.

Winger McManaman, who has made three appearances for the Owls since joining on loan at the start of the month, missed training on Wednesday due to illness.

Another new signing, striker Sam Winnall, is hoping to make his first start since signing from Barnsley after coming on as a half-time substitute during Saturday's 2-0 win over Huddersfield.

Midfielder Kieran Lee is out for the season after undergoing surgery on a hip injury, while Filipe Melo has returned to his native Portugal to join Pacos de Ferreira on loan.
