Chesterfield vs AFC Wimbledon - Anderson missing for Caldwell's first game at Chesterfield

Gary Caldwell will be without Tom Anderson for his first game as Chesterfield manager against AFC Wimbledon.

Former Wigan boss Caldwell, appointed as Danny Wilson's successor this week, watched from the stands as the Spireites defeated relegation rivals Coventry and has said he will alter very little after being impressed by the performance.

However, he will be forced to make one change as central defender Anderson suffered concussion against the Sky Blues.

Goalkeeper Tommy Lee (shoulder) and defenders Dan Jones (foot) and Paul McGinn (hamstring) have been injured for some time and remain out.

AFC Wimbledon striker Lyle Taylor could be a surprise inclusion as they travel to the Proact Stadium.

The 26-year-old forward limped off in Tuesday's FA Cup defeat to Sutton and will be assessed ahead of the game.

Centre-back Paul Robinson is suspended after he was sent off against Sutton and Jon Meades (ankle) is still sidelined.

Dean Parrett (bruised ankle), George Francomb (illness), Tom Beere (back) and Andy Barcham (hamstring) all trained on Thursday and are hoping to be included in the squad.
