Birmingham vs Reading - Zola may make minor tweaks to Blues line-up

Birmingham boss Gianfranco Zola does not intend to make wholesale changes for the Sky Bet Championship visit of Reading to St Andrew's.

Midfielder Greg Stewart could be available for the first time since January 7 after shaking off a knee problem to return to training, but striker Clayton Donaldson (heel) faces a further six weeks out.

Jacques Maghoma is due back from the African Nations Cup following DR Congo's exit at the weekend.

Zola will assess the midfielder, who has a minor knee problem, but Tuesday's game could come too soon for him.

Reading could hand new signing Adrian Popa his debut, following his arrival on Monday.

Manager Jaap Stam could also start Jordan Obita and Tyler Blackett, after both featured as substitutes in Saturday's 2-1 defeat of Cardiff.

Joey van der Berg, however, is expected to miss out having suffered a hamstring injury.

Owing to respective hamstring, knee and ankle injuries, Callum Harriott, Stephen Quinn and Deniss Rakels remain absent.
