Stewards at Anfield Are Checking if Liverpool Fans Are Scousers or Not

Liverpool's hierarchy are apparently very keen to know whether or not supporters inside Anfield really are Scousers or not, after a video emerged online showing match-day stewards asking fans where they live.
In case you weren't aware, the club's owners FSG have introduced a ï¿¡9 ticket scheme for this season, meaning certain fans from the stadium's surrounding area can come to specific Premier League games for just ï¿¡9, helping to make things a lot more affordable for genuine fans.
And now a video has surfaced on Twitter appearing to show stewards speaking to fans to ask how much they paid for their ticket and to make absolutely sure they live in an area that qualifies.
There is no suggestion that these ï¿¡9 tickets are being sold on for inflated amounts but officials are obviously still keen to make sure everything is on the up and up:
We have absolutely no idea what the steward would have done if the person wasn't from Kirby, but it's still fascinating to know they're asking these sorts of questions.
