Colchester United vs Wycombe Wanderers - McGreal waits on fitness of Johnstone
Posted Tuesday, February 21, 2017 by PA
Colchester manager John McGreal is sweating over the fitness of striker Denny Johnstone for their Sky Bet League Two clash against Wycombe.
Johnstone was substituted after just 26 minutes of Colchester's 2-1 defeat at Accrington on Saturday.
Midfielder Sean Murray is available again after serving the final match of his three-game suspension.
But Lewis Kinsella (ankle) Dean Brill (knee), Frankie Kent (ankle), Jermaine Grandison (hip), Lloyd Doyley (calf) and Tommy O'Sullivan (knee) remain sidelined.
Wycombe could be without four players for their trip to the Colchester Community Stadium.
Myles Weston is struggling with a calf issue while Aaron Pierre has an ankle problem.
Scott Kashket (groin) and Paul Hayes (knock) are also doubtful for the Tuesday night clash.
Chairboys manager Gareth Ainsworth will be desperate to end a run of three consecutive league defeats.
