Plymouth Argyle vs Carlisle - David Fox an injury doubt for Plymouth
Posted Friday, March 03, 2017 by PA
Plymouth will assess the fitness of midfielder David Fox ahead of their Sky Bet League Two clash against promotion rivals Carlisle at Home Park.
The midfielder missed Tuesday's 1-0 defeat against Notts County having suffered an ankle injury against Luton last weekend.
Right-back Gary Miller is edging closer to a return to action following an ankle injury he sustained in January while Conor Smith continues his recovery from an ankle problem.
On-loan forward Paul-Arnold Garita remains sidelined with a hamstring problem while midfielder David Ijaha is a long-term absentee due to a pelvic injury.
Carlisle remain without defender Michael Raynes and striker Shaun Miller having learnt the extent of their injuries.
Both Raynes (calf) and Miller (knee) could be out for up to four weeks.
Midfielder Jason Kennedy is also still on the sidelines with a groin problem.
Defender Danny Grainger is back in contention after an ankle injury and was an unused substitute at Cheltenham in midweek.
