Luis Suarez and Cristiano Ronaldo cut the gap to Messi in Pichichi race

It was a good weekend for Cristiano Ronaldo given that Real Madrid overtook Barcelona in the LaLiga table and that his goal in the victory over Real Betis pulled him one closer to Lionel Messi in the race to be crowned LaLiga's top goalscorer.
The Portuguese forward netted his fifth header of the league campaign to boost his total to 19.
Luis Suarez also cut the gap to his Argentine teammate's tally of 23, with the Uruguayan now on 20 goals for the season, the sixth time he has reached the 20-goal mark in his career.
Further down the list, Antoine Griezmann added another goal to his 2016/17 haul by heading in the winner against Granada, which was his 13th LaLiga goal this season to leave fourth-placed Iago Aspas just one strike ahead.
Even if the Celta Vigo striker is ultimately leapfrogged by Griezmann, he is still the leading contender to claim the Zarra Award for the top Spanish goalscorer, with Espanyol's Gerard Moreno the closest challenger with his 11 goals.
