Bayern Munich reportedly snap up Julian Brandt from Bayer Leverkusen

The latest Bundesliga starlet to move to Bayern Munich is set to be Julian Brandt as reports emerge of an agreed deal between the German champions and Bayer Leverkusen.

Brandt, 20, emerged as one of the country's great hopes having broken through at BayArena in 2014, going on to make his national team debut as part of the preliminary Euro 2016 squad last May.

Bild report that Bayern have reached agreement on a 30 million euro deal to bring the winger to Allianz Arena, although it's not yet known if the transfer will take place in the coming summer, or ahead of the 2018/19 season.

Real Madrid were linked with the Leverkusen star Los Blancos scouting him when the German side faced Atletico Madrid in the Champions League earlier in the year.

The move would become the latest example of Die Roten plucking talent from their divisional rivals having signed, among others, Mats Hummels, Robert Lewandowski, and Manuel Neuer, from fellow Bundesliga sides.
