Arsenal are planning a summer overhaul which could see them spend as much as £200million on new players.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that manager Arsene Wenger, who is expected to sign a new two-year deal, will be given the tools to refresh his struggling squad.
It is believed that the Gunners board will make £100m available while giving the Frenchman the freedom to spend whatever the club makes on the sale of current squad members.
Those being linked with an Emirates Stadium exit are Mesut Ozil, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Olivier Giroud, David Ospina, Lucas Perez and Jack Wilshere (currently on loan at AFC Bournemouth) - a forecast of close to £100m in sales on the current market.
And Wenger is eyeing a new goalkeeper, two full-backs, a deep-lying midfielder, two wingers and a striker to replace those on their way out.
Players linked with Arsenal include Olympique Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, Celtic pair Moussa Dembele and Kieran Tierney, Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, Sunderland gloveman Jordan Pickford and Stoke City's Jack Butland.
It is understood that Arsenal will also hire a director of football to work in a brand new position alongside Wenger. Ajax's Marc Overmars and Borussia Dortmund's Michael Zorc are the names being linked.
