Uche Ikpeazu and Adam McGurk to miss Crawley clash
Posted Thursday, April 27, 2017 by PA
Uche Ikpeazu and Adam McGurk have been ruled out of Cambridge's remaining games and will therefore miss the final home fixture of the Sky Bet League Two season against Crawley.
Striker Ikpeazu required surgery on the dislocated shoulder he suffered in the defeat at Portsmouth.
And forward McGurk tore his hamstring in training on Monday, after previously having endured knee and thigh injuries this term.
Striker Barry Corr (groin) remains out.
Crawley look set to have the same squad for this match as they did for Saturday's 3-3 draw with Carlisle.
Defender Mark Connolly came off in the 27th minute of that game due to a virus but is fit to be involved again.
And the same applies to goalkeeper Glenn Morris, who was forced off in the 32nd minute by a head injury.
Crawley, 19th in the table, are looking for only a second win in 13 outings.
