'Hearts go out to all affected' - Football world reacts to tragic Manchester Arena blast

Police have confirmed 19 fatalities following a suspected terrorist attack at an Ariana Grande concert Monday night

Tragedy struck in northwest England late Monday night, with 19 fatalities confirmed following a blast at Manchester Arena.

Around 50 people also were injured in the incident, which police are treating as a suspected terrorist attack.

And the football world took to social media to express sympathy and support for the victims of the tragedy, which occurred following a concert from singer Ariana Grande.

It's with great sadness we hear of the terrible events at the Arena. Our hearts go out to all affected and to our city's emergency services.
