Man City fans fume at Nicolas Otamendi for injuring Gabriel Jesus

Otamendi injures Jesus
Manchester City fans were furious with Nicolas Otamendi after the defender left his club teammate Gabriel Jesus in a heap during Argentina's 1-0 friendly win over Brazil in Australia.
The young forward required medical attention in stoppage time and had to be stretchered off. Otamendi appeared to catch Jesus in the face with an elbow when they were both competing for the ball.
A tenacious defender, Otamendi appeared to put club relationships aside for the classic international fixture.
He went in hard on the 20-year-old repeatedly, much to the chagrin of City fans.
They took to Twitter to voice their dismay at Otamendi's rough treatment of Jesus. Some joked that he would be sold by Pep Guardiola as a punishment for this display of unnecessary aggression.
Not Jesus's best game
It will be a game to forget for Jesus after the forward missed a sitter.
He did the hard part by rounding the goalkeeper before hitting the post as defenders raced back to cover an open goal. Chelsea's Willian then wellied the rebound off the post.
The Argentina victory gives Jorge Sampaoli's reign a winning start.
