Arsenal's Swiss international midfielder Granit Xhaka has announced some lovely news on Thursday: he's getting married.
The 24-year-old Gunners star has revealed on social media that he's popped the question to long-term girlfriend Leonita Lekaj.
The couple are currently in Miami on their summer holiday, and Xhaka has donned a fancy suit and got down on one knee to ask his partner for her hand in marriage.
Leonita Lekaj said yes, and she's celebrated on Instagram.
Xhaha also posted the identical photo on his Instagram account with the following message:
She said YES. A golden ball is a miracle, a golden wife is a paradise! Mr & Mrs Xhaka.
First season in the Premier League
It was a hit and miss first year in English football for Xhaka.
He missed far too many Arsenal games through suspension, as he collected two reds cards and five yellows during the EPL campaign.
In total, Xhaka picked up 14 yellow cards in 59 games in all competitions, while scoring five goals and chalking up two assists.
