Barnsley head coach Paul Heckingbottom is expected to select from an unchanged squad for the home game against Ipswich.
Heckingbottom has reported no new injuries following the midweek Carabao Cup win against Morecambe, for which he made three changes.
Latest signing Matty Pearson is hoping to make his league debut and Ryan Hedges is pushing for a rare start after stepping off the bench to score the winner in midweek.
Winger Lloyd Isgrove (foot), Zeki Fryers (hamstring) and fellow defender Liam Lindsay (groin) remain sidelined.
Ipswich will be without defender Adam Webster who is set for around a month of the sidelines after sustaining an ankle injury in the Carabao Cup win at Luton on Tuesday.
Midfielder Cole Skuse (knee), defenders Jordan Spence (knee) and Tommy Smith (back) are expected to be available, along with forward Joe Garner (shoulder) and midfielder Luke Hyam.
Grant Ward will be assessed on a calf problem, while Teddy Bishop (groin), Tom Adeyemi (illness) and Emyr Huws (Achilles) continue their recovery.
Midfielder Andre Dozzell is expected to miss most of the campaign having suffered a torn cruciate knee ligament during the win over Birmingham last weekend.
