Rochdale boss Keith Hill will keep changes to a minimum after being delighted by Tuesday's Carabao Cup win at Mansfield.
Hill shuffled his defence following last weekend's Sky Bet League Two defeat at Portsmouth, and Dale responded with a resilient display at the One Call Stadium to win 1-0.
Keith Keane returns to the squad after missing out in midweek through suspension.
Skipper Ian Henderson and Matty Done are expected to link up in attack again after Hill praised their blossoming partnership at Mansfield.
Scunthorpe boss Graham Alexander will check on a number of players who sustained knocks in Tuesday's Carabao Cup win over Notts County.
The Iron's biggest doubt is Josh Morris, who was withdrawn with a shin injury midway through the clash with the Magpies but is still expected to be involved.
Midfielder Neal Bishop is in the running to make a return to the starting line-up after sitting out the midweek action with a dead leg.
Alexander has options with Hakeeb Adelakun and Duane Holmes both pushing to start after impressing from the bench on Tuesday.
