A STUNNING party animal who was spotted in a car with Wayne Rooney as he was arrested for drink-driving has revealed her night out with the Everton ace.

The footie star was driving Laura Simpson, 29, home in her VW Beetle after she crashed a heavy 10-hour binge session where revellers were spotted rapidly sinking prosecco and vodka.

Cops pulled the 31-year-old striker over on Friday morning and charged him for driving under the influence.

But office manager Laura has now broken her silence about her mad night out with Roo.

Laura said she was too drunk to get behind the wheel and that the former England skipper offered to drive her home.

She told The Sun: “We were just driving and then there was just blue flashing lights behind us. Wayne was p****d right off and was really worried about it.

"I didn’t know what to make of it, it all happened so fast. It was a whirlwind. I don’t know if it’s because I was that drunk but Rooney didn’t seem that drunk to me.”

The £130,000-a-week star and his mates were out partying with former Man United defender Wes Brown at the Bubble Room cocktail bar, in Alderly Edge, ahead of his move to the Indian Super League.

There Rooney was introduced to Laura, from Irlam, Greater Manchester, as his pregnant wife Coleen was on holiday in Majorca.

She said the striker was dancing on the tables singing along to Oasis songs and necked back the booze.

Laura added: “We had three bottles of prosecco and a couple of vodkas between us.

"Then we left. I got out the front, while the taxi I got put in was made to go around the back of the bar to pick Wayne up.

"We got the taxi to go and pick up my car. I was too drunk to drive and as it was just me and him he offered to drive. I don’t really know where we were going.

"It’s been a mad few hours.”

Wayne was spotted leaving Middlewich Police Station, Cheshire, in the back seat of a car frantically making phone calls.

It is believed that the Everton ace was preparing himself for a b********g from Coleen who arrived back in the UK at 5pm on Friday.

A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “The man was arrested shortly after 2.00am today, Friday 1 September, after officers stopped a black VW Beetle on Altrincham Road, Wilmslow.

"Wayne Rooney has since been charged with driving whilst over the prescribed limit.”

Wayne been released on bail and will appear at Stockport magistrates’ court later this month.
