EA Sports have released their latest batch of ratings for the upcoming FIFA 18 release and once again, a number of ratings have under a pile of scrutiny on social media.

In a controversial move, Paul Pogba has been given a -1 downgrade.

The Manchester United midfielder has gone from an 88-rated card on FIFA 17 to a 87-rated on FIFA 18.

Not only has his rating decreased, but a number of his stats, including his pace, dribbling and defensive numbers have gone down.

EA Sports described his card on their official website as:

"Often tasked with controlling the pace of play from midfield, Pogba's composure and ability to hold possession is evidenced by his 88 Strength and 84 Dribbling. When tasked with more attacking roles, Pogba can use his 84 Passing and 79 Shooting to create goals for himself and those around him."

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has a higher rating than Pogba, boasting an impressive 88-rated card, despite a mediocre season in both the Premier League and Champions League.

It looks like Paul Pogba has better stats than Ozil, but EA Sports have decided to give the German international a better card.
