Buddies go top after beating Inverness

St Mirren moved top of the Ladbrokes Championship with a 4-2 win over Inverness.
Lewis Morgan's left-footed strike in the 31st minute was all that separated the sides at the break, but five goals in the space of 15 second-half minutes decided the contest.
John Baird fired the Buddies 2-0 up just after the hour mark but Inverness hit back with goals from Gregor Buchanan and Liam Polworth.
Only five minutes after the equaliser, Cameron Smith had St Mirren in front again with a right-footed shot and seconds later Ian McShane made it 4-2 to ensure the victory the hosts needed.
