Dani Alves: Paulinho is going to be a bargain

Following his first Barcelona goal on Saturday, Paulinho has continued his run of fine form in the Blaugrana colours with an expert performance against Eibar, one that has led his Brazilian compatriot, Dani Alves, to suggest the former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder will be a bargain.
Los Cules parted with 40 million euros to sign the midfielder in the summer, a figure that prompted a significant degree of scorn amongst his critics.
It was difficult to see just how he would fit into a midfield that needed significant strengthening, yet to his credit the 29-year-old has started life at the Camp Nou quite brilliantly.
Upon seeing the aesthetically exquisite dummy which set Lionel Messi through on goal as the Blaugrana scored their third goal of the evening, Alves uploaded a video reaction on Instagram in which he claimed Paulinho would prove to be a bargain signing for the club.
"He is going to appear very cheap," he explained.
