Liverpool hope Senegal cut loose Mane early after World Cup success

Liverpool are hopeful of Sadio Mane being released early from international duty after he helped Senegal qualify for the World Cup.
Mane played the full 90 as Senegal defeated South Africa 2-0 today to reach the Russian tournament.
Mane created the opening goal for West Ham striker Diafra Sakho, as his side ran out 2-0 winners. The attacker had only just come back from hamstring injury last week.
He could now be rested by manager Alou Cisse ahead of their dead rubber against South Africa at home on Tuesday.
If that is the case, Liverpool are hopeful he will be allowed to return to Merseyside as he continues to recover from his month-long absence.
The club even sent one of their own physios, Scott McAuley, over to Africa to ensure he suffered no setback in his recovery.
