Real Madrid board agree Mauro Icardi bid budget for January market

Real Madrid are prepared to test Inter Milan's resolve over Mauro Icardi in January.
Real president Florentino Perez and coach Zinedine Zidane have agreed a new striker must be found for the winter market and Icardi is being actively discussed. The Argentine's availability for the Champions League makes him particularly attractive.
Real directors held transfer talks last week about their January plans and Icardi's name featured prominently in discussions. A ceiling was set - with it agreed an offer of €90m was realistic for the Inter captain.
Icardi has made it clear he is fully committed to Inter, though the chance to return to Spain and prove his critics at Barcelona wrong will tempt him.
Finding a proven goalscorer is becoming a desperate situation for Real after their attack drew another blank for Saturday's draw against Athletic Bilbao.
