Brechin remain winless as Dunfermline take the points

Brechin are still seeking a first Scottish Championship victory of the season after slipping to a 2-1 defeat at Dunfermline.
Declan McManus gave the home side a 22nd-minute lead with Nathaniel Wedderburn creating the danger through a magnificent cross to the far post.
Nicky Clark was lurking and had the presence of mind to nod the ball down to McManus who prodded home.
The second half was only four minutes old when Dunfermline pounced for a second time, Joe Cardle threading the ball across for Michael Paton hit the back of the net.
But in the 60th minute Brechin pulled one back, on-loan Aberdeen striker Connor McLennan pulling the trigger from long range and being rewarded with a superb goal.
Brechin, however, remain without a win in the competition in 17 matches.
