Livingston ease past Dumbarton to move into third in Championship

Livingston swept to a handsome 4-1 comeback victory at Dumbarton as they climbed three places to third in the Ladbrokes Championship.
David Hopkin's side had lost their way over recent weeks, losing to St Mirren and Dundee United and not winning a game since November 25.
But goals from Craig Halkett, Scott Pittman, Dylan Mackin and Scott Robinson made it a rout at the YOUR Radio 103FM Stadium, after eighth-placed Dumbarton briefly led in the first half.
Stuart Carswell's pass took out the Livingston defence and Ally Roy fired into the top of the visitors' net for a 25th-minute breakthrough goal.
The lead lasted under two minutes though, with Halkett taking advantage of poor defending to shoot home. More unsteadiness at the back allowed Livingston to nudge ahead just before half-time, as Pittman was fed by Mackin to score.
Mackin added a third in the 58th minute, substitute Robinson made it 4-1 with 10 minutes remaining, and there was still time for teenager Matthew Knox to have a penalty saved by Scott Gallacher.
Dumbarton midfielder Kyle Hutton was sent off at the death for a second bookable offence, both for fouls that came in quick succession.
