Ryan Edwards missing for Plymouth after cancer diagnosis

Plymouth host Wigan without defender Ryan Edwards, who has been diagnosed with testicular cancer.
The club announced the 24-year-old, who scored in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Doncaster, would undergo immediate surgery in a statement on Thursday.
His place in defence could be taken by new signing Zak Vyner, who joined from Bristol City on loan until the end of the season.
Manager Derek Adams is unlikely to make too many other changes as Argyle look to extend their eight-match unbeaten run.
Wigan will have James Vaughan available again for the match.
Vaughan was ineligible for Wednesday’s FA Cup win over Bournemouth but is in contention to play this weekend.
Craig Morgan (hip) and Shaun MacDonald (knee) are both out.
Ryan Colclough, Callum Elder and Noel Hunt are all pushing for starts after impressing against Bournemouth in midweek.
